National Library of Ireland, Dublin 2
Explore the poetry and legacy of Ireland's greatest poet in the award winning exhibition Yeats: the life and works of William Butler Yeats. Children aged 7+ can pick up a My Yeats trail guide and can find out more about Yeats, his family and his friends. The exhibition will continue throughout 2010.
Exploring Ireland's literary heritage, visiting award winning exhibitions or researching family history are just some of the many reasons to visit the National Library of Ireland. Established in 1877, the National Library's holdings of books, manuscripts, prints and drawings, maps, photographs, newspapers, music, ephemera and genealogical material comprise the most outstanding collection of Irish documentary heritage in the world.
The Library's new exhibition Discover Your National Library: Explore, Reflect, Connect showcases some of the wonderful items from the collection, including rare manuscripts, maps, photographs and ephemeral items.
Kids of all ages will love the new display in the Library's main hall, Tall Tales and Deadly Drawings, featuring Irish children's books and amazing illustrations from our collection of drawings. Get involved when you visit - leave us a magic leaf telling us about your own favourites, make up your own stories at the Inspiration Station and watch out for characters from the exhibition as you explore the Library! The display will run throughout 2011.

Over the past 10 years I spend an average of 190 nights per annum in hotels throughout Europe and the USA, and the Trinity is my favourite hotel of all! The friendly staff and the accommodation make for an enjoyable stay.
