“One of the finest songwriters of her generation” New York Times
Support act just announced – Ted Leo will be supportng Aimee in Dublin

One of the finest singers of our generation, Aimee Mann, makes a welcome return to Ireland on Thursday 31st January 2013 to play the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.

The tour, which kicks off in California at the end of this month, coincides with the release of her long awaited new album Charmer, on September 18 on Superego Records. The album is Aimee’s first release since 2008, when she last graced our shores and wowed the audience with her performance.

Aimee has been very busy since her last album and word tour, she performed for the President at the White House, appeared as herself on the TV series Portlandia and fast became an internet darling. Named one of The Huffington Post’s “13 Funny Musicians You Should Be Following On Twitter,” Mann has gained a diehard social media following for her quick wit and stinging observation, much of which is reflected on the new album.

“One of the top 10 living songwriters along with Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, and Bruce Springsteen” NPR

Over the past 10 years I spend an average of 190 nights per annum in hotels throughout Europe and the USA, and the Trinity is my favourite hotel of all! The friendly staff and the accommodation make for an enjoyable stay.
