Example has announced details of a major Irish headline show at The O2, Dublin on Thursday February 21st. The platinum selling rapper will be joined by special guest Benga (Live).
 
A year ago, he released his third album, ‘Playing In The Shadows’. The record topped the charts and achieved platinum success producing two number 1 hit singles ‘Changed The Way You Kiss Me’ and ‘Stay Awake’.
 
Example’s chart success quickly translated into his live shows and earlier this year he sold out a 14-date UK arena tour alongside amazing performances at Marlay Park, Creamfields, T In The Park and V Festival becoming one of the most exciting live acts on earth.
 
This live show is key for Example. “My mission statement is to get everyone going f*****g mental,” he says. “I base the success of my gigs on how bouncy the crowd is. I watched Faithless for years and have watched Nirvana headline Reading… I want to recapture that energy.”
 
Examples fourth album ‘The Evolution of Man’ is out this November.
