James Joyce House of the Dead, Dublin 8

James Joyce House of the Dead is one of Dublins most important literary and Historic buildings.
Once the home of an aunt of James Joyce, the house was the setting for many Joyce family Christmases and, later, for his short story, The Dead, Located in the City Centre, it is where Joyce set his most famous story, "The Dead , Director John Huston located his film of the story here. This story was inspired by them- The Joyce family.
The house is also home to a contemporary art gallery and a varied programme of literary and musical events.
